Reflection
This table lists the top 10 deadliest volcanoes in history along with other side information. What I like best about this work is that I gained knowledge throughout the whole process of making the table. If I were by myself, I would have never searched up volcanoes, let alone be aware of the damage they do to the environment and living beings.
The most significant thing I learned in this activity is the significance of the locations of the world’s most disastrous volcanoes. I have found out that the deadliest volcanoes erupt along the ring of fire, which is where earthquakes happen most frequently. Earthquakes and other disasters that occur as a side effect of volcanic eruptions are so deadly that a third of a country’s population can be wiped out within minutes.
If I were to do this work again, I would definitely search through more sources and come up with a more comprehensive list that includes more exact details. I would probably add descriptive texts about a certain volcano and its location to better present the information in the table to viewers.
I would like to learn more about other natural disasters. I want myself to learn to be more involved and alert about how natural disasters around the world affect planet Earth and how scientists and geologists come up with prevention plans to educate common people and scales to measure the disasters’ effects.
