Reflection
This is one of the first flowcharts I have ever made, and it is about the different causes and factors that lead to the desperate decline of the once almighty Spanish Empire.
While making this flowchart, I turned quite often to my classmates because I had no idea on how to express historical information properly through a flowchart, and this definitely helped with my own work because I gradually excelled at adding all the circles and arrows, along with filling in the correct information.
However, this is also the most challenging part, because the circles in a flowchart requires short but precise texts for easy analysis. So, before making this flowchart, I took quite a while to read and summarize the information from the book. After some time, I eventually was able to summarize paragraphs into the short phrases here.
The most significant thing I have learned from this work is definitely the fall of the Spanish Empire. This perfect example from history tells us that even the strongest institution or person is doomed to fall after a certain time if the management is not effective. I also learned how correctly summarize paragraphs and create easily-understandable flowcharts.
If I were to do this work again, I would add more branches of information to the topic by searching from more outside sources. I would also make adjustments with the layout of the flowchart, such as adding indicators [like numbers] to clarify the order and ripple effects of the causes, for easier understanding.
