Reflection By looking at my friends' progress, I got a broad idea of which life events to include into my timeline. In the beginning, I was also having trouble using this particular software called "timeglider," and by referring to one of my neighbors, I gradually got used to creating the many slots of events.
The challenge involved in this project is how to make the whole timeline "pop-out." It will be uninteresting if it only had black texts. So, I tried to switch through different colors and shapes, and I also added pictures to many of the events. I also adjusted the sizes of some event headers to distinguish the importance of them from the rest.
The most significant thing I have learned by making this timeline is how to use "timeglider." Despite finding it difficult in the beginning, this software is actually a very good one that allows users to create lively and interactive timelines. I have also learned that patience counts a lot to create a good-looking piece of work.
If I could do this project again, I would find more pictures to complement each event so as to add life to them. I would also have used fewer colors and symbols, because I noticed that I used too many that the really important ones did not stand out as much as I expected. I would definitely choose to keep more black texts than I had.
